A quick UX story about (IMO) Ethereum’s biggest weakness. Something I don’t ever hear Ethereum opponents talking about.
I just wanted to mint this Zora NFT. First opened in Twitter browser by accident. Always have issues connecting using that and I wanted /rainbow points. So I copy URL and open in rainbow browser. I click mint, switch networks, mint again, no tx prompt. Refresh page. Now mint button does nothing. Log out of Zora, try to log back in, no login prompt.
Okay, fine. I open Zora page in Safari and try to connect Walletconnect. Wallet doesn’t respond. “Try alternative link” offers the helpful Walletconnect prompt, which also doesn’t work.
Okay, fine. @0xdesigner posts on Farcaster! Problem solved, I’ll just mint with warps! And then… well, see attached.👇
I did finally get it minted with warps after a couple tries. And idk if this is a Zora issue, or a Walletconnect issue, or what. But damn, we need to get our shit in order. 2 replies
