🖥️Have you heard of Arweave's "AO" Hyper-Parallel Computer? 🅰️rweave provides persistent, decentralized data storage, leveraging a structure called blockweave. It is a hyper-parallel computer because nodes can process data in parallel, improving scalability. ♦♢ Ethereum bases its infrastructure on a global state, where all nodes must process every transaction. Naturally, this limits scalability. Rollups must adhere to the rules of a basic settlement layer, introducing additional complexity, as well as other issues such as liquidity fragmentation. Additionally, rollups are managed by different entities, further complicating the alignment problem. What is the incentive for rollups to collaborate?

Instead, Arweave employs a hyperparallel architecture, where each process operates independently: a message passing system is used to coordinate actions. This design improves TPS and allows processes to run in parallel without interference. It also removes the block space scarcity that limits other blockchains.Each smart contract on Arweave effectively runs as its own blockchain but benefits from the security of shared infrastructure. This allows projects to spin up their own security across isolated appchains, as AO provides shared security at the infrastructure level while retaining the benefits of isolated block space.
