Ah thanks! So the "crypto" in "crypto-colonialism" refers more to the quality of being concealed rather than the crypto we know hahaha. 

I had initially guessed that it meant the reproduction of colonialist behaviour within the crypto sector, e.g. the West dominating crypto-related resources and discourse.
