What are the "DePIN" projects that people think are most likely to actually work?

It feels like the category is a new name for something that's been around for a decade (StorJ, various decentralized ubers...) but has never gotten off the ground? So what's the bull case for why it will get off the ground now?

I feel like these reward based mapping services just a cheap way to fund data mining. People speculate on the underlying token which pays the bills. I don’t think this is a sustainable business model. Basically just a slow rug pull.

you obviously dont know the project but feel the need to talk it down...i dont know about other projects in that field but mapmetrics is building a web3 map with some innovative and interactive stuff you should read about instead of bitching without knowing shit
