Restaking is the best thing that could have happened for eth validator diversity by breaking lst dominance. Multiple staking markets is the best outcome for eth decentralization.

gm honest question. how does restaking fix the centralization issue? aren't they still just validating with majority clients (or minority best case but 3/4 of all validators use Geth)? don't see how restaking fixes this. Thanks!! 2000 $DEGEN

Majority Client usage is different problem. Only fix there is education about the risks. Im talking about the centralization problem posed by delegated stake and lsts. When vanilla staking was the only option we had coinbase and lido dominating. Now we see a boom of restaking services that are not lido and cb.

The reason i believe it is net positive is that there is no one token that can represent the multitude of risk and reward tradeoffs that restaking allows. Every avs that gets added will mean a new category of lrt tokens and a new opportunity for new service players to come in and specialize.

Vanilla eth restaked token. Eth restaked + data availability token. Eth + oracle rewards token. Data availability + oracle but no eth token. The multitude of services with custom liquid tokens will be endless. Coinbase and lido cannot dominate in every category.

sweet totally get that. it's that second layer of restaking ala Eigen et al that has me confounded re: security etc. Are you educated on that too? tbh, that's where I'm really out of touch. 2000 $DEGEN appreciate your time to respond ser!
