Out of curiosity, why is this an either/or question? Not sure what amps exactly are but do they conflict directly with follows?

Thanks for the response. Naive question, but could follows / amps be replaced with a concept closer to groups/rooms? Instead of following 1000 individual people, could i point to a single “room” of people￼ and everyones responses in that room get added to my feed. Then you only track a few connections and not 1k

Doing both means delaying permissionless sign ups a bit. Prioritization exercise more than anything.
