$130 million to Brian Armstrong for AI assisted longevity drug development Round was led by Kleiner Perkins, with new investors Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross, and Khosla Ventures and returning backers Founders Fund, Dimension Capital, Elad Gil, Garry Tan, Patrick Collison, and others. Discontent with mere wealth hoarding, the rich *must* outrun the last great equalizer to prove superiority once and for all 😜 https://techcrunch.com/2025/05/06/newlimit-founded-by-coinbase-ceo-brian-armstrong-raises-130m-to-develop-age-reversing-therapies/

Vitalik had a great reply to this several years ago, basically: Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, uses the same iPhone that most everyone else uses. New technology, medicine included, is scalable and deflationary over the long term. The rich will be the first benefiaries, but it will eventually be available to all. My bigger concern is what does it do to a young person's upward mobility if a person can function just as well at 120 as they did at 20? How do you get promoted and opportunity?
