TURNING INWARD — THE DOOR OF LIBERATION IS WITHIN

In the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra, the Buddha said:

“Be a lamp unto yourself. Take refuge in yourself, take refuge in the Dharma, do not take refuge in anything else.”

Many seek peace, enlightenment, or truth externally — through teachings, places, or others. But the Buddha gently reminds us: the gate to Nirvāṇa is already within, not elsewhere.

Practice is not about gaining new truths. It is about clearing away illusions to rediscover the clarity that has always been present. Liberation does not come from accumulation, but from returning — to this breath, to this moment, to awareness itself.

You don’t need to travel beyond galaxies.
Sometimes, a single mindful pause is the doorway.
