Was on a film set this past week. My respect for production teams are no next level. The amount of patience you need on set is unreal. You can’t really appreciate how much energy and focus it takes until you see it up close. Long hours, constant retakes, and still, everyone has to bring their A-game.
Watching everyone come together—the director, the actors, the crew, it’s clear just how much logistics is required. It’s not just about one person’s vision, it’s about how all the moving parts sync up.
Seeing a script come to life is one of the coolest things. You read something on paper, and then it transforms through the actors’ performances. But then, once it’s on camera, it looks completely different from what you imagined or even how it appeared live.
The attention to detail is insane. Every tiny thing from how a light hits a face to how a sound is captured matters. There’s so much happening behind the scenes that you don’t even think about when you watch a movie. 2 replies

The 9 day festival of navratri comes to an end with day 10 today symbolizing victory over evil, this festival celebrates goddess Durga in her 9 forms slaying the demon Mahishasura. Here’s the significance:
Goddess Durga, who is a representation of the Divine Feminine, protects mankind from evil and misery by destroying evil forces within humans such as selfishness, jealousy, prejudice, hatred, anger, and ego.
The buffalo demon Mahishasura represents the forces of ego, ignorance and chaos that are hidden by our appearances. He is often depicted as half-man and half-buffalo, which symbolizes the bestial nature in humans
The symbolism of Durga slaying Mahishasura shows just that – the beastly nature of the man falls at her feet. because she rose to full power, the bestiality was brought down 1 reply
