If you think about centralized blockchains from first principles, they’re really just companies offering programmable ownership with none of the guarantees and a regulatory pass most companies don’t get. But that arbitrage will close What’s actually new is a network whose rules can’t be changed by insiders. One upheld by people running nodes in homes, schools, government offices, big cities, remote villages, Chile, Papua New Guinea, and eventually… space
