TL;DR – by making your device download a unique CDN resource (such as sending a Discord friend request notification with a unique PFP), an attacker could guess which data centers you're closest to by enumerating their caches. 100% CSS emulation in React Native ultimately hinges on what its underlying layout engine (Yoga) and its respective native dependencies are willing to support. Otherwise it’ll forever be stuck in this “CSS-in-JS” uncanny valley where CSS’ greatest strengths (the global cascade and property inheritance) are traded for extremely strict component-level scoping and lots of (IMO) quirky and complex tooling to work around it. One thing I love about Svelte is how dead simple it is to adopt browser APIs or anything from the vanilla JavaScript ecosystem. Just import, initialize, set up some cleanup code and it’s ready to go.
