I just set my dad up with a burner card and showed him how to swap ETH to USDC on @base and put some money into @pooltogether and there are a lot of aspects that have gotten a lot better. It was still obnoxiously hard to do and also explain what each step was doing. Not that it should matter but this guy is a software and hardware engineer and only retired a couple of years ago. I was going to do the same for my mum but it’s gonna be too hard!

Anyone else not receive any notifications on iOS from Warpcast? I have all settings enabled in the app and have all the notification settings enabled on iOS settings app and still don’t get a badge nor push notifications cc @v @dwr.eth

What’s the best way these days to avoid being able to bot a smart contract function? Are there simple zk processes that allow someone to submit a proof of an offchain challenge and have it verified onchain without revealing the value? Are there simpler methods?

I’m in the process I building a game that I think could work really nicely in a frame it’s a bit like pool together but a bit more like a game with tactics etc. wondering if anyone would want to play it? Entry would be low probably between $2-10 in ETH.

What are the recommended ways of generating a verifiably random number within a contract on base these days. Would RANDAO be suitable because of the centralised sequencer of base ?

What’s a good way to access randomness on @base if I don’t want to use chainlink? Is it bad do use RANDAO considering there are any block builders other than Base themselves?

https://caststorage.com has now been upgrade to use the new V2 frames. It should be a lot easier to use especially if you’ve used the website version to buy storage. Huge shoutout to the @horsefacts.eth @deodad and @dwr.eth for the help and for reimagining what frames can be. If you see any bugs or have feedback feel free to message.
