Ok I watched the WWDC Keynote and here are my thoughts 💭 

1. Apple Intelligence looks fantastic. 
↳ great new UI for Siri with frame of phone screen lighting up, text entry possible
↳ Siri can follow confusingly worded questions and follow-ups without subject mentioned
↳ GrammarlyGo and SparkMail are done for

Love: Priority notifications and inbox sorting

Hate: not available on most iPhones

2. iMessage updates bring it closer to where apps like WhatsApp were years ago.

↳ support for RCS

But my favourite new feature is:
Scheduled replies which I imagine will mostly be used as a way to remind other people of things 😂

Tap to Cash is a UX marvel. Send money with no need to share information, with just a tap!

Crypto, steal this! But keep the privacy!

Notes is coming for Notability’s gig with audio recording and transcription within a given note.

Apple Watch translation app feels like something that would have blown minds years ago and no one will even notice now. Pretty cool though. 

Combine with AirPods and you can eavesdrop on other languages 🕵️‍♂️

Locked and Hidden Apps, especially when combined with the fantastic Focus Modes already in iOS, give a lot of the best features of multi-user support with few drawbacks.

Other cool features:
↳ Passwords app is probably going to meet most people’s needs
↳ you can finally place icons wherever. there’s also a way to tint them to the colour of your choice but I’m not a huge fan of how it looks
↳ customizable control center with multiple pages. seems a little complex but nice

↳ shake your head to respond to Siri (requires AirPods)

↳ massive improvement to contacts sharing with apps. Hopefully this will include an option to tag or group contacts (ie Work, Family, Dates, Crypto)

↳ almost no mention of the new Fantastical like Calendar + Reminders features

↳ initial impressions of Apple’s generative image creation is not inspiring in terms of outputs (looks like older versions of Stable Diffusion or DALL-E but the UI/UX of how you interact is really cool

↳ Apple adding AI photo touch-ups to allow for object removal à la TouchRetouch
