You theoretically could in the way that "token-gated channels" are implemented today since it's all at the client level (anyone can still post into whatever channel they want, token or not)

Haven’t though too deeply on this one but feels extractive & unnecessary considering we pay the network for Storage Units. 

Might be even more 🤑 than that if we fold in the costs of moderation.
