Meet Rebekah, a registered nurse from Denver, Colorado, who has been volunteering as a combat medic on the frontlines in Ukraine since 2022 ⛑️ She is currently not only evacuating the wounded from the 'hell on earth' areas of the frontline but also training Ukrainian medics. She’s one of the medics I deliver supplies to, and I was honored to finally meet her in person and spend some time with her before she left for another evacuation. I know that for many people, war is faceless—just numbers and terms like 'military,' 'medics,' 'casualties.' But I hope to share the stories of the humans who are there, risking their lives every day to save others. People like Rebekah, who aren’t even from Ukraine but are here to help, make me cry every single time because I am so grateful 🫂 and I’m committed to helping with any supplies they need to continue their work.

10 CAT tourniquets and 10 SICH tourniquets have been purchased and are on the way to our frontline medics along with other requested supplies 🫂⛑️ These tourniquets stop heavy bleeding and help prevent people from bleeding to death. This is very important on the frontlines, where fast treatment can save lives. They also give extra time for evacuation by controlling blood loss, so wounded people can be moved stabilization points and hospitals for proper care.

Thank you for sharing this, @mazmhussain. I’ve run out of emotions to even write anything or react to Trump’s and Elon’s rhetoric and lies. Just trying to focus on aid deliveries and helping those on the frontlines. But I appreciate everyone who is able to put the words together and speak up. I also hope everyone is watching. If you’ve ever wondered how the U.S. government has successfully managed to paint victims of occupation and resistance as aggressors, while portraying aggressors and occupying forces as victims (with the complicity of many media outlets)—now we all have a front-row seat to watch it happening in real time. I hope it answers your question of how the fuck it could have happened, and how history gets rewritten.

This delivery was a joint effort by several nonprofits. /crystal-hearts provided medical supplies, while others secured a drone, power stations, generators, food, coffee & energy drinks. Six JETTs (Junctional Emergency Treatment Tools) have been purchased and are on their way to the frontlines along with other medical supplies (total cost: 0.545 ETH) ⛑️ High extremity wounds, resulting from penetrating trauma, blast injuries, or amputation, where regular tourniquets cannot be applied require specialized equipment like JETT to stop the bleeding and save a casualty’s life before they bleed out in minutes 🫂❤️‍🩹
