As a child I would break into neighbors houses to steal food. Had two little sisters at the time to look after. Thank the lord I was put into foster care at 7 and adopted at 13.
Why I appreciate the little things in life. Could have been worse.

I’m so sorry. Children should never have to starve or go through abuse or pain. They are the most innocent on this earth. Thank you for sharing. Wish those with decent upbringings would appreciate their lives more. My heart breaks for children suffering.

I didn't know what to say, it always affects me the deepest. And I will never forget what I went through and what I felt. And yes, children should only cry for candy.

I'm sorry you had to go through that as a child, you're right our children shouldn't have to go through difficult situations, it's hard.
