It is sprained But I feel it’s broken (but I know if it’s broken I wouldn’t be able to walk ) I can still walk a little But if I try turn my leg at an angle I can feel my Bone tangle and it’s stiff

When I try rotate my leg in wards It’s so difficult And anytime I try to do the 5 inch test for ankle mobility my ankle just get stiff

Hard to know without seeing more and understanding the range of motion, but if it’s broken with displacement then you’ll definitely feel your bone move in a way it shouldn’t, if it’s a non displaced fracture then it’s chill even if painful. As long as we’re not talking about displacement, and we’re just talking either sprain or non displaced fracture, your best bet is to be frequently exercising the full range of motion you have now, which is to say the now degraded range of motion. You want to move thoughtfully, your goal is to approach its range of motion with the ability to back off the moment discomfort gives way to pain. Keep in mind discomfort is often mistaken as pain, but the two are distinctly different. A simple description is sharpness. Pain will hit, whereas discomfort just builds
