I use hiking for the opposite. Complete escape from technology and all things.

Same, but technology is creeping into it. Signal will be available everywhere soon with Starlink.

Agreed, I tend to bring an old phone that doesn't have a sim (for photos) and just a spot for GPS tracking. The disconnect is hard!
