Rachmaninoff, part2 (1) As we talked about musical traditions, we may continue to talk about his education- most of his relatives were musicians, and first music classes he got from his own mother at the age of four, and then, showing a lot of talent and dedication, Rachmaninoff was sent to a teacher called Zverev - he lived with him for 4 years and befriended Alexander Scriabin(pianist, composer). After this he was enrolled to a Moscow conservatory, where he was an excellent student, and got a gold medal for writing his opera “Aleko” (only in 17 days.1892, 19 years old) - Rachmaninoff completed his symphony 1 and its premiere was in 1897, which was a failure, and it leaded him to a deep depression. Three years, without composing anything, he was trying to recover with the help of the doctor named Nikolai Dahl, to whom Rachmaninoff dedicated his second concert with piano after he got better. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

hello again everyone!! I don’t really know, how many classical music lovers there are here, but I still wanted to share my knowledge;) today I want to write about on of my most favourite composers - Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff. S. V. Rachmaninoff was a russian composer, virtuoso pianist and conductor. He can be viewed as one of the most important representatives of late romanticism. Rachmaninoff’s birth and youth occurred at the junction of two centuries, the 19th and 20th In 1880-1890 years, in Russia, there are two musical conservatories and two musical traditions associated with the generation of senior musicians There is a tradition of “The Mighty Five” in Saint-Petersburg, which included composers as - Mily Balakirev (the leader), César Cui, Modest Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and Alexander Borodin. And Tchaikovsky traditions in Moscow. Moscow traditions were more closer to Rachmaninoff, as he lived there the most. do I release smth like the second part? let me know!!!!!^^

decided to upload a bit more photos. those cats were so cute and tender. I also bought them some food at the local store:) although I’m sure they get enough fish from the sea considering the fact that the entire beach area was filled with fishermen next to whom most of the cats were laying & enjoying the sun!>-<

All my life I did stuff connected with creative aspects and when I was a teenager, I was concerned how that much talented & hard working artists are not noticed or even forgotten by the people. And there are so many reasons for that. Maybe it’s fortune, maybe the person couldn’t promote himself more or whatever the reason is. And that’s what encouraged me to be a producer. {idk why did I tell that, I just needed to write smth above my artworks for the exam I did recently>_<}
