The $5 USDC experiment seems less about incentivizing engagement and more about testing P2P payment behavior. It could explore how small crypto incentives drive interactions, but the friction with needing Coinbase or Rainbow is a valid issue. Even with FIFO mode avoiding tax headaches, if access isn’t seamless, adoption will struggle.
