Web3 experimenting:

Naive: one hot wallet, connect to hundreds of dapps, a ticking time bomb

Lazy: Mental block against experimenting, because it is so tiresome (new wallet, new key, back-up, bridge, UX issues)

Paranoid: Takes the effort to navigate with burner wallets

Is it realistic to expect newer web3 users to be prudently paranoid?

We ideally experiment with a lot of web3 apps, separately low value, but still a lot together. 

The reality is that everyday users still click on phishing links and sign all kinds of messages with hot wallets, because they don’t want to buy a hw wallet for $200-300 game items 😬

How about 1 hot wallet, experiment freely, but move your high value assets to a separate hardware wallet.

Simple and intuitive. I keep cash in my pocket but most of my trad assets in Vanguard
