Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said the Fed does not have the authority to issue a central bank digital currency (CBDC). Perhaps influenced by Powell's speech last night, Bitcoin fell below US$65,000 this morning. In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated US$173 million, with the main force being long orders.
