Depends on if you have a guest house. One car or two. My mother-in-law stayed with us for 90 days when my son was born and it was a lot.

I also got tremendous anxiety, knowing she had not booked her return ticket so if there is a plan, make sure there is a discrete beginning and end.

No, not at all. I'd love that to be honest. But only on one condition, that I could go and stay somewhere else.
