going to share a story because it's insane

i booked an Airbnb. checked in Dec 30--much worse than the pictures, but otherwise uneventful.

the next night, right after the New Year's celebration, i come back to find a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PARTY in my airbnb.

this is where it gets interesting...

i stand in the open doorway. 8 or 9 people inside, drinking, smoking, Migos playing on the TV. lady with big hoop earrings and i lock eyes.  

after a short, ridiculous, hilarious conversation i realize that she has a VALID BOOKING for the same unit. has been talking to the same airbnb host.

i message the host, gather my stuff, call Airbnb support. i'm hanging out on the couch. they offer me a beer (lmao)

Airbnb support is initially helpful and reasonable. "send a photo," they say. i send several.

after a few minutes, I leave and go to a hotel to sleep
