Most retail are aping into memes, they're not buying BTC anyways. 99% of them see the price of BTC and say "I'm not buying 0.01 of something for $1000 when I can get 20,000,000,000 of XYZ memecoin"

It's a fair point. The best has always been to DCA. Is there a good chance that BTC drops? Sure! But there are a lot of catalysts on BTC (Runes, ordinals, institutions buying,, L2's, DEFI developing etc). People calling to buy can be predators but I don't know if scammers is the right word.
