gm! I'm a bit sad about the recent news on tipping and banned users, sad because it hurts the most those who didn't played the system, while farmers already cashed out. Since the nft market is totally dead, degen tips were a nice extra income for me and I believe for many other artists as well. I'm afraid the new rules which nobody knows right now just cause people be afraid to tip. I really like farcaster and I'm not planning to leave or anything, but I hope things will sort out soon and tipping will work like it worked it worked so well at the beginning last year.

yeah its really hard to know what percent are you tipping to the same percent, and there are many different cases, you cant just let an algorithm decide who is acting in bad faith, exchanging/farming tips. And there aren't many artists active here daily, so its easy to tip the same person multiple times, whether it is on purpose or not.
