biz case os that it’d offload major infra costs to hubs

1 blocker is perf at scale, which is a Hard cs problem, but if solved would result in a ux on par w/ what exists today 

would be the ultimate ‘embrace & extinguish’ move from x yet still be a good outcome for mm/fc

never gonna happen izo. if it was at all likely elon would want a controlling stake first

the fact that threads was built on mastodon makes me think this'd be possible
