as the nukes begin to go off in the distance, you take a deep breath. youve trained for this. its just like the simulations. you activate the blackrock forcefield. as the opalescent sheen creates a dome over the field, you assure the congregation of world leaders that they will be safe within its bounds, and usher them into the bunker door. as number 100 enters, you seal it shut. there is no space for you inside. the forcefield will only last so long against the radiation outside. the bullet is a mercy
