The Monkey: Can Another Stephen King Adaptation Save the Supernatural Horror Subgenre? In the past year or two, various subgenres of the horror genre have managed to produce some noteworthy films. Various directors have revived this wonderful genre by making slasher films, psychological horrors, or even gothic horrors that are not very popular in cinema today. Various films such as "The Material" have also breathed new life into the subgenre of body horror and have taken this cinema a little further. It seems that Stephen King's adaptations could help revitalize the horror genre. However, we hope that the creativity and appeal of these works will continue to elevate cinema standards 👌
