mira peed herself yesterday first time in a year, on the floor. i usually work from home and play with her a lot, but yesterday was off. no game, no attention, I had to run out in the morning. if it’s stress or just her being extra sensitive 🫣 do your cats ever react like this when their routine breaks? any advice would be very helpful

I’d have her checked for a uti. I’ve never had a pet do that w/o it being accidental. Did she come to you to ask for attention before it happened?

thanks, yes, it still seems accidental. shes quite clingy cat so attention is a priority number one😁 the thing is she is a very much same cat with good appetite, lots of running and gaming and nice sleeping. and it didnt repeat yet. will I have to play for an hour before going out every time?🤪

awwww, does she have a puzzle toy? You could get one and put her fav treats in it before you leave. Then she would be busy trying to get the little treats out.

yes! she's quite good with this already, but I can get more and change it. That's an amazing idea, I usually channel her to the puzzle if game is too crazy and she cant stop

Oh so she’s super smart! Yeah I’d find more difficult ones or even try doing a treasure hunt where you hid treats so she spends time looking for them around the house. My baby LOVED treasure hunts and would let me know it’s time for one 😆
