Several people asked how I was keeping track of all the connections and follow up I needed to do from Basecamp. So here is my patent pending crypto conference interaction and follow up system. Before your event: Make a Telegram folder for the event (BaseCamp Frens) Pin this folder to the top of your telegram so you can find it quickly. Make a new conversation called Notes in your folder and pin it to the top. Add your QR code to your telegram into this conversation and pin it. Add any notes to yourself here about people/groups to follow up with.

During the event: Each time you make a new connection and add someone to your telegram, add this new person's chat into your event folder. Write a quick message, usually while still talking or right after to your new contact. Include essential info in the first message, Hi (person's name so you can look it up later), this is John from ToastAI. It was great talking to you about ...(List the things you spoke about that we're useful or interesting) I am looking forward to ....(List your calls to action, setting up a call, making an intro, getting info) Then pin this intro message so only you see it in the conversation with your new connection so you can quickly see all the relevant info.

Post event: Using your event folder you can now work down the list of each person you met and follow up appropriately. No missed connections or great convos that slip away after the adrenaline of the event fades. I like to move people out of the folder as I finish whatever follow up I was responsible for, so once the folder is empty I know I completed my Basecamp to do list. Biz dev is easy if you plan ahead and stay organized.
