Decided to walk from Cadiz to Tarifa in southern Spain with a good friend this week. It’s not the “official” Camino de Santiago, but it’s just perfect with the weather this time of year. Day 1: Cadiz to Chiclana de la Frontera. The “frontier” part of the name refers to about 500 years ago when this was the border between Catholic Spain and the last stronghold of the Almohad empire (Moors).
