A long-term network state should embody governance models that are deeply aligned with the well-being of the entire community. This means creating systems where power is decentralized, decisions are accountable, and the benefits of collective growth are shared equitably. For health, we need systems that prioritize prevention and long-term wellness, breaking free from profit-driven, reactive care. Education must be accessible and equipping citizens with the tools to contribute meaningfully and thrive, regardless of their starting point. There should also be fairness in how people join or exit this society. The ability to participate in, or leave, a network state must be free of coercion or financial barriers, ensuring alignment with personal agency and freedom. This community should foster a culture of entrepreneurship, inclusivity, and diversity. Its citizens should actively participate in shaping its trajectory, not as passive recipients but as co-creators of its future. Will we see this in our lifetime?🤔

Your meta-belief reminds me of the philosophy behind B Corp companies. These businesses commit to “idealistic objective A”—putting humans and the environment first—while trusting that revenues will follow when they do right by their communities. By aligning a coalition around shared values, they create resistance to selfish or short-sighted actions (B) that could undermine trust. When organizations openly pursue selfish objectives, it often triggers a race to the bottom, prioritizing short-term gains over long-term value. In contrast, committing to A fosters accountability and ensures success is shared among all stakeholders—employees, customers, and the environment. This principle scales well beyond organizations. Coalition-building around A acts as a form of governance, providing checks against harmful excesses of B. While some facades of A have caused harm, I’d argue the issue lies more in weak accountability than the principle itself.

Post-Devcon reflections: We’re on the right path to make Network States and Parallel Societies more accessible, and, more importantly, functional. We’ve got a powerful @logos-stack movement driving the mission and the tech to back it up. 🔥 Purpose-driven societies, built for a common vision, are becoming a reality. It’s all happening! #NetworkState #ParallelSocieties #Web3

Listening to @cdixon.eth interviewed by @laurashin I specially enjoyed his statement... “Crypto is not about money is about technology that improves the world. Chainging the paradigm! Let’s focus on building great web3 apps that enables people to move away from web2 extractive models. Just like @farcaster 😉💜
