Poker quiz #1 (A) On the river, the pot is 200 and our opponent bets 100. If we call, what percentage must we win at showdown to breakeven? (B) Our opponent goes all-in before the flop and shows us their hand: AA. If we are *forced* to call, which of these hands would we prefer? Explain why. 1. A9 2. A5 šŸ‘‡

Prize: 500 degen Hands denoted as <Rank+suit><Rank+suit>, so Ace of spades, Seven of clubs is As7c It's tempting to think about these in the context of your own games, but try to think only about what's given in the question Difficulty will be adjusted as we go I'm just a dude. You may call me out if I'm wrong

(A) 33.3% or 1 in 3 showdowns. Your are risking $100 to win $300. (B) A5 because you have to catch a set or straight to win the hand. Only A5 gives you a straight draw without playing the board and chopping.
