Despite its early promise of decentralized, censorship-resistant social media, the platform’s active users have decreased sharply from 104,000 in early July to around 60,000 by September 2024. This signals a broader struggle within the SocialFi space, where platforms are struggling to maintain user interest despite substantial initial investments .
