What’s the strategy for hard to get reservations these days?

Resy notifications, TableOne, etc?

Resy Notify works but you’ve gotta have fast fingers, I find it helps when the app is completely closed in the background

Otherwise you can just walk-in at a lot of places if you go just before they open to put your name in, a bit inconvenient but works more than you’d expect

Have some friends visiting next weekend so trying to do:

Friday dinner in Williamsburg: ideally Four Horsemen, if not Lillia or Oxomoco

Saturday dinner in WV/Soho: one of Thai Dinner, Commerce Inn, I Sodi, etc etc

Thai Diner and I Sodi your best bet is to go put your name in as soon as they open (show up like 30 mins early)

Commerce Inn is actually one of my favorite spots and can usually accommodate walk-ins, even on weekends (super underrated!)
