The “hype” that you’re talking about was mostly just tech Twitter which is a speck in the grand scheme of things

Barely any non-tech people I know had ever heard of Arc and even when I told them about it they had no interest in switching, “Chrome works fine”

actually down to set up a structured bet, not sure what metric we'd measure though

I think they don't reach the hype with Dia that Arc had. Maybe slightly more users. I don't think they grow into their valuation of $550M via exit or new raise (maybe in this case marginally above to save face)
