I used to have VSCode freezes frequently because of prettier, intellisense would just hang.

We recently switched to Biome and everything is super fast again. Highly recommend!

I have never experienced issues because of prettier, working in multiple big bloated projects, what could be the cause?

Mostly Typescript/Python, lead dev at @atomichub. On side working on Ondly - web3 career space.

propably auto import issue mentioned here, but happy biome works for you guys

Tbh I'm not sure, but def happened with multiple big projects opened. I trimmed down all my extensions down to just prettier running on save, and still hanged. Since I made biome the default formatter it's been smooth.
