I thought the whole point of this iron clad system was to reduce the numbers by eliminating bots and the likes to distribute the number more evenly amongst true casters

Well if this platform is good enough the users will increase a ton more & just by that the degen will be a tiny fraction per person even if all bots are taken away. So the platform just need to get good enough so ppl dont care about degen at all What is sad though is that without degen most will stop using it as much

you’re spot on that is why the play right now is a double edged sword you can’t say you want organic use and make a whole bunch of rules that we condition folks to talk to certain people, connect with certain people if they want to rank up lol

They need to have a long term plan that doesn't revolve at all around DEGEN. I didn't join because if it. I joined because I heard it was great to connect. Not censored algo. Ppl engaged etc Though I quickly realized why ppl use it much revolves around DEGEN and might go away if DEGEN goes sadly

absolutely and i wouldn't blame them if they did but fortunately there are more and more tokens coming up that may replace the financial dopamine people crave from degen on farcaster for example, it is even easier to rank up on superrare than on degen lol you just have to keep engaging with things you like
