Damn just hit me that knowledge is really power. 

I see it in actions from my own generational population.

generational knowledge is something that can be passed down by prior, but also something newly developed by a later cohort -- correct? or do we only use it to describe former

doing some research now & experiencing a bit of ontological shock.

I'm gonna be 40 next year & it was only in the last year that I learned about the generational trauma. not my parents fault, but they abdicated their responsibility & I'm still coming to terms with.

going to try & write it about because it's so heavy.

they were only able to get their physiological needs met & so that's all they were able to give to their kids.

so I'm learning that generational knowledge is not something my family is rich in.
