I fell in love with a 38-year-old lady. 28 years old myself. We don't even look that different - I've always looked older than my years and she younger. Somewhere in the middle, we hit it off. We have similar outlooks on life, similar interests, close professions.
Everything would be perfect, but I can't give her anything. I earn less, I'm not ready for a family yet, and she doesn't have kids and obviously she wants them soon. When we explained ourselves, I outlined all this at once, so that there were no ambiguities. As a result, we became friends with benefits.
