What the actual proof is @Succinct Labs anyway???
- wanted to clarify some questions that often arise, so here it goes, GProve! 👇

a) Is Succant a Layer 1 like Ethereum or Solana? - No

 - Succinct isn’t an L1 because it doesn’t run a blockchain, meaning it doesn't validate transactions, order blocks

b) Is Succant a Layer 2? - also No 

- L2s are plug into L1s, a form of exntesion, that increases scalability and offers flexibility for adding new functions

c) Succinct proves correctness of transactions (via SP1 zkVM) that occur on L1 or L2s
- Succinct doesn’t validate transactions or order them

=> Succinct's job is to verify if work was done right
=> Succinct is not a chain, but rather the perfect infrastructure for the validity any chain

the TLDR (metaphorically)

L1 = The bank (processes your transactions)

L2 = A branch office (scales the bank, helps you access the bank faster and makes the paperwork faster)

Succinct = The audit firm (checks everyone’s math silently)
