The Mexican city of Guanajuato is the capital of the state of the same name, many travelers know it for its unique Museum of Mummies. Locals often call Guanajuato the "Silver City", and all thanks to its large deposits of iron and precious metals. A large industrial city in the past, today Guanajuato is considered one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico, the main value of which is its unique architecture.
