Ichiro shines in all the Hall of Fame criteria: 3000+ hits, a batting average over .300, MVP, Rookie of the Year, numerous Gold Gloves and All-Star picks, plus several batting titles and Silver Slugger awards. Lofton doesn’t stack up the same way.
