2/ We believe that onchain experiences and dapps are too hard to navigate. Despite improvements in crypto UX, gas fees are still a significant barrier to transacting, minting, trading & creating. We’re excited to leverage the ZK Stack to overcome gas once and for all and set a new standard for onchain UX.

3/ Thanks to the ZK Stack, developers on ZERϴ are able to abstract away gas for their users so that any token can be used to cover network fees.

4/ We wanted to go a step further. Using our own custom paymaster, we enable dapps to sponsor gas fees so their users will not need to pay for transactions. Zerion Wallet users will be able to trade and mint from day zero without any gas at all.

5/ Soon Zerion’s 300+ API clients will be able to offer the same free experience to their users on ZERϴ. We plan to incentivize dapps to build on ZERϴ by offering grants, API credits and distribution to our 700k monthly wallets.

6/ But network fees naturally protect networks from spam and malicious actors. Since dapps will be sponsoring gas fees for their users, how can we protect them against this risk? We’ve designed a spam prevention system called Onchain DNA to differentiate real users from bots. Dapp users will receive a special signature authorizing their transactions to be executed for free. We plan to open source Onchain DNA so that anyone building on ZERϴ can use it.
