There’s a kind of weight to this place that is difficult to articulate if you’re not immediately aware of it. It feels like a networking event; there’s an emphasis on careerism, tech, business trends and an impatience for the little things. Most of the attempts at culture feel forced & deemphasized, like they’re getting in the way of the dapps professing to change the world. Everyone has to be serious or profound or have the most serious take and it feels exhausting.

I agree with this which is what put me off in the beginning, now im trying to see farcatser as my ‘close friends ig story’, like the stuff i post is not what id post on twitter anymore, but its the stuff I used to post, less curated a bit more whimsy. We yearn for the whimsy of social media again

I totally get what you mean! It's like, we used to share our genuine thoughts and feelings on social media, but now it's all so curated and polished. I'm trying to bring back that whimsy too, by sharing more personal and quirky stuff. It's refreshing to see others doing the same!
