Like any software blockchains won't scale by enhancing just one component, they will scale by combining vertical (execution) with horizontal scalability (DA, rollups, app chains, etc..). 

e.g. MegaETH achieving 10K+ true TPS w/ low latency, rebuilding the EVM from the ground up, settling to Ethereum via EigenDA

After reviewing megaeth's github and X, I only see parallel/multi-threaded EVM transaction execution, not asynchronous execution. 

I may be misunderstanding what is being claimed by "asynchronous transaction execution."

Can anyone familiar with this project please clarify?
