unsurprising to see many ethereum builders switching over to solana, at the end of the day for a lot of folks it's about making money

no right/wrong choice. i'm sticking with building on ethereum/base

it'll be interesting to see whether memecoin casino transforms into onchain economy once the wealth effect redistributes money

or if they just change everything back into fiat and go about their business

or if they just keep gambling

pure memecoins are still negative-sum-games if you count transaction fees, but people seem to not mind losing money if there's the chance they might make a lot

but agree with you in general

it can transform to onchain economy if the mechanics of making money changes. a challenge at the moment is that it's largely people with connections to alpha that make money. the vast majority of folks lose money.
