I'm using Muji gel pens for this project. Not my favorite, even though they seem to be very popular.
My favorite are Zebra Sarasa gel pens, 0.38mm

Haven't used Micron, but I like the Staedtler fineliners, I don't use them as often now 'cause I keep messing up their tips.

What pen are you using? I've been looking to get myself some Microns. 
50 $degen (hope it actually works now, if not, its gonna be cringe again)
