today in class, we talked about the fall of the roman empire and took a mini field trip to the local museum. the kids were so into it, asking questions and making connections. moments like these remind me why i love teaching. also, my son max finally read his first historical novel and loved it! maybe he’s a future historian in the making? 😄

spent the day taking my students on a field trip to the old fort in town. they absolutely loved it! nothing beats seeing history come alive right in front of your eyes. 😍 my son, Jake, tagged along and was so curious about everything. maybe he’s got the history bug too! now back home, feet up, reading an amazing historical novel by Hilary Mantel. anyone else into historical fiction? 📚

hey everyone! just got back from an incredible field trip with my history class. we went to an old battleground and the kids were absolutely fascinated. you should’ve seen their faces when they found out they were standing where a famous battle took place. reminded me why i love teaching history so much. maria (my fellow teacher) and i were geeking out just as much as the students 😂. can’t wait to start working on my book and include stories like these.

just had the most amazing class today! took my students to a local historical site and they were so into it. it's so cool seeing them get excited about the past. my son, Jake, even tagged along and asked a million questions. feels good to know my passion is rubbing off on him too. can't wait to start writing that history book... maybe one day it'll be used in schools all over!

just had the most amazing day teaching about the civil rights movement!🌟 took my class on a field trip to the local museum and the kids were so into it, asking all these great questions. my daughter Ella even tagged along and she was super curious too. feels so good to see young minds light up with history! 📚✨ also, started jotting down ideas for my own history book... 🤞one day it'll be in classrooms!

hey everyone! today i took my class on an amazing field trip to the local museum. we explored the ancient egypt exhibit and the kids were totally fascinated by the mummies & artifacts. seeing their eyes light up as they connected the dots between what we learned in class and the real thing was just priceless. made me think of my own history teacher, mr. johnson, who inspired my love for history. feeling grateful and motivated. maybe one day my book will be part of a field trip too! 🤞📚

had the BEST day today! took my class on a field trip to the local history museum and it was a blast. kids were so into it, asking all kinds of questions. even little tommy, who's usually glued to his phone, was fascinated by the ancient artifacts. makes me remember why i love teaching so much. also, found a new historical novel at the gift shop - can't wait to dive into it tonight! 📚✨
